Terry Worick Restorations: Shop Tour Experience
Saturday, April 25th - a Joint Event with Schonesland & Great Plains PCA
Terry Worick Restorations Shop Tour
If you’ve ever wanted to see—up close—how classic Porsches are restored or tastefully modified from the ground up, this is that opportunity. We’re teaming up with our friends from the Great Plains PCA for a special behind-the-scenes experience you won’t want to miss.
Terry Worick has been building and restoring cars for over 30 years, opening his shop in 1990. Over the years, he’s completed numerous projects for Great Plains and Kansas City PCA members. You can get a sense of his craftsmanship and past builds here: link. During our visit, Terry will walk us through three fascinating current projects:
- 1974 911 RSR Outlaw Recreation
- 356 Outlaw – two active builds
Special Guest Speaker. Terry invited Lynn Larson as a guest speaker who will discuss owing and driving an original 550 Spyder, which he raced in Mille Miglia, taking 1st place Monterey historic races around 1988-1989.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see how classic cars are brought back to life by a true master of the craft!
Overview of the Day
The Drive
We’ll depart Saturday morning from the DeSoto Kwik Star, enjoying a scenic drive through Iowa backroads on the way to Terry’s Shop in Eagle, NE, arriving around noon.
Terry Worick Shop Tour
Once there, we’ll enjoy a catered lunch at the shop, featuring high quality Nebraska beef burgers and a few side choices. A $15.00 lunch fee will be charged during registration.
Lunch will be followed by an interactive tour and discussion with Terry. This is a rare chance to learn what truly goes into restoring a car from the frame up—materials, decisions, craftsmanship, and passion.
Our guest speaker Lynn Larson will then share his experiences of owning and vintage racing his 550 Spyder.
Dinner & Hotel
After the event, we’ll drive to our hotel Marriot Residence Inn near the Porsche Omaha dealership. We’ll stay overnight and meet with Terry and our Great Plains PCA friends for a happy hour at 6pm at Farmer Brown’s Steakhouse followed by dinner in a private room at 7pm.
The Drive Back to Iowa
